Traffic will vary according to the site and the specific conditions that are associated with it. The use of non-permanent police signs is recommended in situations where signs only have to display a limited number of symbols. They increase the vigilance of drivers who are confronted with a highly visible change in their usual journey.
The Dynamic Traffic Sign consists of a 190 mm deep aluminum profile enclosure. The front-opening door is assisted by gas struts and features a UV-resistant polycarbonate face panel.
The sign is secured using watertight compression latches.
The enclosure is finished with a standard black epoxy coating (other colors available upon request).
The sign is mounted from the rear using horizontal mounting rails.
The Dynamic Traffic Sign is equipped with LEDs that fully form both the border and the symbol, without the use of screen-printed graphics.
The border is enhanced by two rows of red LEDs, while the symbol is displayed using yellow or white LEDs.
Each LED has a service life exceeding 100,000 hours. The LEDs are arranged in multiple parallel networks with series groups of five LEDs. This design ensures continuous visibility of the illuminated sign. In the event of an LED failure, only one network is affected, while the remaining networks continue to operate normally.
The sign incorporates an automatic twilight switching system that automatically adjusts brightness levels between daytime and nighttime operation.
It can be powered directly from either 230 VAC or 12 VDC. For 12 VDC operation, solar power systems or public lighting power supplies (SEP) can also be used.

Comprised solely of LEDs on a black background, nothing is shown on the sign when it is switched off.
They are then switched on as and when conditions require it.
